Pontcanna – makes Top30 best places to live in UK – Sunday Times

Pontcanna in Cardiff  is the only Welsh entry in the Sunday Times’ list of hippest places to live.

An affluent Cardiff suburb has been named one of the 30 most fashionable places to live in the UK.

The Sunday Times newspaper has rated Pontcanna as one of the hippest neighbourhoods in the country because it is the “most well-heeled bit of Cardiff.”

It describes the area as “all tree-lined avenues and delis, and populated by ‘crachach’,” explaining that it is a nickname for the Welsh elite

I love the fact it is so close to the beautiful park and it is a really easy place to live. I suppose some of the new places to eat are quite trendy and the tree-lined streets are beautiful. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
